Seriously, dude’s got no powers. Just take after your Dad and lay one on him.
Well, unless she’s planning to keep Gold from ever getting back to Storybrooke and his magic I wouldn’t do anything to anger the guy.
Still, I need for him to realize he’s not the big fish in the little pond anymore. That will be good development for him as he builds up to finding Baelfire.
I think exposure to the outside world without his magic will do that for him. In the promo he seemed so awed and a bit wary of everything. I think I’ll like that “overwhelmed by his surroundings” Gold. Without power in the real world and dependent on Emma he’ll be half scared, lashing out in an effort to protect himself.
I want Emma to kinda half fun with that, without outwardly doing anything Gold might want to get even for later.

Ok, so this is perfect and you should all go read it.
Title: Dancing Magic
Note:Basics on Reindeer Games. I am going to bet that this is not everyone’s cup of tea. So I recommend you read the basics so you know what you are getting yourself into.
Reminder that these are out of order.
Cervitaurs: Henry, Emma, Neal, Mr. Gold
I love how much thought you put into this ‘verse. And Gold’s stories of his early bouts of magic. There was a sad shortage of black lace panties, but I’m sure those will turn up on the next one.
This is a thing now and I regret nothing pushing and prodding you to give in.
I mean I sure as hell was. I was so expecting some snarky comments or just straight up confusion at seeing Belle with Rumple.
At this point it feels like the writers are cutting corners left and right and yet dedicating bizarre lengths of time to Emma walking in on her parents or stuff like that. We didn’t even get a “Oh, btw, Emma, Rumple’s got a girlfriend now, just fyi” from Charming. We are to assume he told Snow and Emma before and I’m getting tired of this “fill in the blanks yourselves” game this season is playing with us.

These are going to be snapshots, like the drawings, just little drabbles or short fics. There are also probably going to be completely out of order, and have probably very little to do with each other.
Regina and Emma are 18 and 17 respectably. Baelfire is 20.
I’d like to thank everyone who pushed and nagged Gepardo into writing this. It was a lot of work but we did it, people!
Gep, stop reading this and go write more. I want my handler!Belle, cookie!
- I want my adorable floofy haired boy. I want to see him as a teen developing a relationship with
MamaBelle. I want a teen Bae and a Henry to be friends (unstable magical parents, mostly outcasts among their peers, etc) And i want Dylan back, because he’s adorable.- At some point Neal’s going to get to Storybrooke. And he’s going to need to fix things with Emma. And he’s going to (I hope) build a relationship with Henry (I love that Henry finally has a male role model in Gramps Charming, but I desperately want to see him and Neal.) Emma’s never had anyone whose focus was on her, completely, until this past year with Henry and just now with her parents. I want Neal to be there for Emma and for Henry. If Neal is Bae then that attention is spilt between repairing his relationship with Emma and Rum trying to fix things between himself and his son. I want those to be two separate things.
- I like Neal. I really do. But I don’t want a thief to be what Bae grew up to be. He’s such a brave and nobel boy, and while I completely understand that he landed in a strange world and that could have happened out of necessity, it’s not what I want.
- While Grandpa Rum would be adorable, one thing that I love about Henry and Rum’s interactions is that unlike every other relationship in his life, Rum is completely unselfish and non-self motivated. Even more than Belle it is the one pure relationship he has. He is kind to Henry for no reason other than he is a child, and a person that (I believe) Rum admires. He likes Henry. He gives Henry the charm for his nightmares without a price, and is so gentle with him when he puts him to sleep. Henry is the one person who he never raises his voice to, never snarks at. He actively thinks of the boy, which is rare (the walkie talkies, for one.) And he doesn’t expect anything back. And I want it to stay like this. If Neal is Bae then Henry is his grandson, and although he would spoil that boy, and fight to the death to protect him, some of that magical unselfishness and pureness would be gone. Also, Regina and Rum have enough issues between them without this mess.

This gif pays for itself.
Guys. Hook is a vilain. We knew it from the very beginning. Even thought I don’t like the idea of him punching Belle, well I still believe in Captain Swan.
Rumpelstiltskin killed the woman he loved. Yeah, I know, it was his wife. But Hook is a pirate, he wants his revenge and he’d do anything to kill Rumpel. I’m not saying that what he did is nothing BUT I understand. C’mon guys, let’s be honest. Rumpelstilskin and Regina have done terrible things too BUT now they’re trying to be better because they love someone.
I truly believe that Captain Swan will happen because Hook needs someone to help him become better. He needs Emma and Emma needs him to learn to trust again.
Remember how Rumpel was before he met Belle ? Belle helps him everyday to be a better man and I believe that Emma will do the same for Hook. But of course their love story will be very different because they have such differents (and great) personnalities !
So please, stop the war. I ship both Captain Swan and Rumbelle and I don’t want Hook to kill Rumpel but I don’t want Rumpel to hurt Hook. They both deserve their happy ending. Because everyone DOES. (Except Cora. Cora deserves nothing )
Have a good day dear Oncers, and remember
My problem with Hook, aside from the fact that he’s more Captain Jack Sparrow than James Hook and I deeply resent that, is that he portrays himself as the wronged man and, so far, the fandom agrees (what Rumple did WAS inexcusable, I don’t care that what Milah and Hook did was also horrible).
But, the thing is, Hook is no better than Rumple. He toys about possessing a moral high ground that, taking into account his actions with Aurora and Belle (not the punch, which was bad enough, but the fact that he tried to kill her for no good reason), is non-existent. He’s as much of a villain as Rumple and yet I get the feeling the fandom doesn’t quite acknowledge this, and sees Hook’s quest to get revenge on Rumple as just. The way he’s gone about it makes it anything but just and, if and when there’s a showdown between both I don’t want to hear anyone say Jones should win because Rumple is the bigger villain. Or that one deserves a happy ending and redemption and the other doesn’t.
No. Just… no.
I made art for my M*A*S*H OUaT AU verse. Ginny and Raphael were virtually impossible to find pictures for; Ginny’s too glamourous and Raphael seems to wear a suit in 99% of the things he does.
This is fantastic
Yeah! So glad you like it, darling, since you are the reason for the verse!

AU where Rum and Belle raise Emma? please? He found her crying, after they’d tucked Emma into bed. ”Sweetheart?”
“Did you see this, Rum?” She held up a a black plastic bag in one hand, and a sock with at least three visible holes in the other. ”They packed her things in a garbage bag. A garbage bag. How is she supposed to think that she’s worth anything if she’s shuffled around like secondhand things people don’t want anymore? And this… this clothing is a joke. There’s not a single think here that looks like it’s new, or meant for a seven year old girl.”
“We’ll taking her shopping tomorrow, love, and burn the lot of this. Except the blanket.” There’d been a white knit blanket the girl had taken from the bag when she thought she wasn’t being watched. Gold had seen her hide it under the blankets before they’d turned off her light.
“New everything?” Belle looked at the piles she’d been sorting, folding them neatly as she went.
“New everything. Clothes, and a comforter more suited to a child. And books; I don’t think very many of ours are going to suit her for the near future. I believe a bike might be a good idea as well.”
“Oh Rum.” She threw her arms around him, kissing his neck. ”Thank you.”
“She’s ours now, Belle. And we’ll take care of her just like we take care of each other.”
Lost, darling, this needs to be a thing. This, Lost Boys and teenage!Rumbelle.
Once Upon a Time - Sir Henry the Brave
This past week’s episode (2x06, The Doctor) served to remind me that Henry is among the most selfless, courageous character’s on the show. His immediate reaction to Daniel is obviously fear, but the second he sees the blood on his hands, it turned into compassion. Instead of thinking “uh oh, psycho killer!” and trying to run, he assumed that these were wounds and wanted to help. Really an amazing kid and an inspiring character.
Cause god forbid you have a female hero who remains single, not on the dick.
Not every show needs couples. You have Rumbelle and Snowing. Emma is too strong for a guy.
Though I agree that women don’t need men necessarily to be complete in life and specially Emma, I kinda resent that “Emma is too strong for a guy” line, because it implies that women who have boyfriends, or girlfriends, are weaker than those who are single. Sometimes it takes as much strength, or even more, to be in a relationship than to be single.
But yeah, Emma needs to figure out tons of other stuff (her parents, motherhood, saviour-hood, etc.) before being emotionally ready for a relationship.
Once Upon A Time Continuity Error? I think so.
So, can someone please explain to me how Regina went from the total viper she was in “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree” back in season 1 when she was married to Leopold, to the totally innocent and ditzy Queen (which see seemed to forget!) in season 2’s “The Doctor”?
The events of “The Doctor” must have occured after those of “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree” as there was no Leopold and no Snow, but she was clearly Queen. Plus, its unlikely the King would want her bringing back her dead love is it? And thier was no Cora around either, so it was after her death.
She appears to have also gotten younger.
So she started off nice, went bad, then nice again, then super bad with Rumples “help”.
WTF is going on!
The way I saw it In The Doctor Regina has recently become Queen (she’s not even used to thinking of herself as such) and somehow ditches her husband to wander off and learn magic. But this is a few days or weeks after the events in We Are Both. Snow is still a child.
whatifqueen replied to your post: icyanyeta replied to your post: Is it possible Dr….I’m pretty sure those are two different hats. The one Regina has is the one he had from FTL. I don’t know what happened to the one Emma made.Oh, good point. You’re right.
But I don’t really think the hat Emma made worked. If it had Jefferson wouldn’t have been able to return, since the hat cannot travel to a land without magic.
I think there’s enough wiggle room to work around that issue. For instance, Jefferson was able to bring back the cursed apple from FTL for Regina. Maybe Emma’s inherent magic — and lack of belief in other worlds — made it so that Jefferson looped back to our world and just landed in a different spot in Storybrooke.
Whatever it is I do hope that they’ll explain it at some point and not just leave it as a plot hole.
