This is the second part of the “NTIC and Twin-Destiny!Belle find some love” saga. The first part can be found here. I’ve done some research into Ascension to write this, but having not seen any other Stargate shows (SGU doesn’t feature much ascension, really) I might be taking gross liberties.
Well, enjoy! And take into account I did try to throw Nick a bone, even though he’s just starting to get to know this new and exciting Belle.

Summary: Set in the Destiny!Belle verse. In Twin Destinies, Twin!Rush pleads for Twin!Belle to Ascend before the ship dies and she with it. But Ascension is a lonely existence for Belle, who struggles to control her abilities in order to access the corporeal world and catch glimpses of Nick in different universes. It is then that she catches a glimpse of a very foul-mouthed incarnation of Rush.
And he’s ascended.
Author’s Note: Okay, so the other day the RMC prompted NTIC and Destiny!Belle romance, which turned into NTIC and Twin-Destiny!Belle. I wrote a drabble when the shape of the story was complete in my head in order not to forget it. I thought that I might as well post it, seeing as how we still have a week to go till a proper OUAT!Sunday.

DAMN WHOEVER POSTED A PIC OF A DISTRAUGHT RUSH. IT MADE IT TO MY DASH AND I’M DYING HERE RIGHT NOW.

Eli has always been under the impression Rush and Belle are married. When he discovers she’s “just his assistant” he begins to list all the reasons for his assumption. That gives Rush food for thought. It doesn’t help that he catches her in the shower.
“You’re kind of the Yoda of the group,” Eli rambled. For the past hour he’d been attempting to draw parallels between Destiny’s crew and Star Wars characters, and Rush had been ignoring the majority of what he had to say. “Inscrutable motives, but firmly on the good side no matter how it looks. I don’t know who that makes Belle though.”
As far as Rush could remember, there weren’t that many women in the Star Wars universe. His assistant was too polite to be Princess Leia and had too much spirit to be sad-sack Padme. “Belle can be on the Jedi council,” he suggested, wondering why he’d bothered opening his mouth.
I love this magical relationship were I prompt you and you write it. And that bit about Rush sitting up straight and combing his hair back whenever Belle enters a room killed me dead. It was perfect.

Bad Faery Prompted: Rush/ Destiny!Belle- While coding he accidentally takes one of her senses away.
This belongs to a fanfic I HAVEN’T ACTUALLY WRITTEN YET. In that fic Belle is an incarnation of Destiny, the ship, and Rush is even more obsessed with her, because he’s been seeing her in dreams for years (even though he doesn’t tell). Also he’s fascinated by Belle’s entire existence, and more than a little besotted.

My first Rushbelle, after days spent lurking around this fandom trying to avoid falling for it. And now I’m ruined. Ruined. I think Destiny!Belle is a great idea and I’d like to read the whole story. I think that you are a witch or something like that to menage writing Rush doing something so innocent like coding and turn it in a real sensual experience. I really love watching him threaten everyone to stay as far away as possible from the CIH. I think it’s, at least for the moment, the strangest fic I’ve read. But it’s hot. And sensual. And I love you. And I’m lost into Rushbelle now.
… Oh, you’ve not even begun to scrape the barrel of weird!sex in the Destiny!Belle universe, but I’m glad that so far you’re more intrigued than freaked out. And welcome officially to the Rushbelle verse! I’m honoured you chose my fic to begin your descent into a new verse, you’re not gonna regret it. Believe me. There are some pretty awesome fics around here.

Well. That’s it. This moment, December 29th, 10:07 pm in Italy, is the exact moment I surrender. I can’t resist anymore. I tried, really. It was an impressive fight I fought for days and weeks. But I’m too weak and smut-addicted, it seems. I put my hands up in surrender.
I’m starting reading Rushbelle fics. And I suppose, scrolling my “following”lists, I should start with Bad-Faery and Straggle. Oh God.
… Oh, God, that’s the weirdest smut I’ve written. I apologize in advance.

Prompt: Bad Faery prompted Rush taking Belle planet-side to have some fun, and I don’t remember if anyone prompted Belle in her underwear with a tool belt. But you get that anyway.
Summary: Belle was as fascinating as she was problematic, but Rush would have it no other way.
Rating: PG-13.
A/N: The problem with this awesome series of fics is that I plan to actually write the whole thing one day, so none of these fics can have any major plot points. The other idea is to write the whole thing as a series of fics, though they wouldn’t be in order. Any ideas or comments on how I should go about things?

My Unwritten Fics: Belle is locked up on Icarus
In the basement of the Icarus compound is a cell where Belle LeFay languishes. Found by the program, they have been desperately trying to study her magic for years. Her only companion is Doctor Nicholas Rush, who is her chess partner. When the Icarus project crashes down and they arrive on Destiny, Rush tries to prove to Young that Belle isn’t a threat. But whether it is the truth or whether Nick’s feelings are clouding his judgement remains to be seen.
